What is Padlock Escape Games doing in response to COVID-19?

We are taking the current pandemic situation very seriously. Below is a list of things we have changed and are doing to help make escaping with us as safe as possible:

  • All reservations are private; only in rooms with people you know

  • Masks required to be worn by employees and customers at all times

  • Sick employees required to stay home

  • Spaced out booking times to minimize social contact

  • Increased cleaning protocol between every group

  • All customers and employees required to use hand sanitizer when entering Padlock

  • HEPA air purifiers with UV-C light to eliminate air impurities and airborne pathogens in every room


Are masks required?

Yes, all employees and customers are required to wear masks as mandated by the city and state.


What happens if I don't bring a mask?

We have a limited number of masks that customers can purchase when they arrive for $1.00 each. If a customer refuses to wear a mask, they will be asked to leave. 


If I have to leave because I don't wear a mask, will I get a refund?

We are not giving refunds for that situation at this time. 

What if I see your employee not wearing a mask?

Send us an email at and we will deal with it swiftly as that situation is unacceptable. 


Is playing one of your games risk-free?

Unfortunately, no, just like with all other indoor activities. We minimize this risk by following all mandates, limiting social interaction between different groups and employees, and cleaning as often and thoroughly as possible. We cannot and do not guarantee a risk free environment, but we do take our efforts to minimize the risk as much as possible very seriously.


Please help our small, local business stay open by wearing a mask and following any other requirements!
